James Hobbs

James Hobbs was born ca 1829 in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire. He was the son of Allen Hobbs and Mary Ann King. He married Ellen Townsend 11 August, 1861, Holy Trinity, Minchinhampton. James is said to be from Stroud, age 32 and Ellen was 27 (IGI M049001). He must have died in 1866. Ellen remarried - William Webb-King.
James Hobbs and Ellen Townsend had a daughter, Annie, b. ca 1866. She is living with William Webb-King in 1901.
